Sieauna and James went downtown to the Brighton Christmas Ball. I can't get over how beautiful Sieauna looked. She is growing into an amazing young lady.

A Little Remodel During the Holidays?
We decided to change up the house to make it more our style and tastes. The first thing that had to go was the pup-stained carpets. Justin chose a beautiful distressed Java colored bamboo flooring. My job was to change out all the brass door hinges and door knobs to nice black ones. We also changed out the old crystal chandelier and replaced it along with the hall and bedroom lights. We ripped up the carpet in the formal living room and laid the bamboo floor. Justin also built crown molding for the whole room. It looks amazing and I'm so proud of Justin's abilities to rock out a remodel. Then he moved onto the family room and I can't wait to see the before and afters of that one!

Getting Ready for Christmas
Since we will be home for the holidays this year, we pulled out all the decor and went crazy over the Thanksgiving weekend. The kids got their own tree in the basement this year too! I love that they still have a little Christmas spirit in them and like to help their momma help make the home festive. Bring on December!

Thanksgiving
Mom and dad hosted Thanksgiving this year. Dalene and Rich along with Jason and the kids made it a fun and packed household. I love watching the cousins get along so well. The food and company were wonderful and reminded me of the so many, many things I have to be thankful for this year.

Last Utes Game
It's the last game of the season. We were blessed with amazing weather, but sadly the Utes couldn't pull off a win. That's okay, spending time with this guy made it all worth it.

Alex Turns 15!
The big 1-5! Alex, you continually amaze me with your kind heart, quick wit, amazing sense of humor, super smartness and handsome ways. You are truly the light of our lives and we are so proud of everything you've accomplished! We can't wait to see what this next year brings you. High school and driving? Yikes! Stop growing up young man! For your birthday breakfast you wanted french toast and you had a fun party with a TON of friends, but you didn't let me take any pictures. I enjoyed watching you have such a good time. Happy birthday son!
