Mom and dad invited the entire family up to the cabin to celebrate Memorial Day. What might you ask constitutes a great day at the cabin? Let's start with mom's famous ribs. Man they are yummy. Top that with her potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and watermelon and YEAH! Throw in some coronas and some blueberry martinis along with her homemade blueberry ice cream and its something borderline magnificent. ;) The kids shot up cans with the BB guns and after some one-on-one practice from Master archer Jeremy, I actually pulled and fired a 70 pound compound bow! (Thanks to Crossfit for the muscles!). Then we all went down to the pond and did some fishing. The pond was stocked full so it was really a fun time for the kids! After fishing, we headed back to the cabin for yet more food! Burgers, dogs and the sides from lunch. It was quite the day! My kiddies fell asleep in the car before we even got out of the canyon. Thanks mom and dad for an amazing day!

Probably my favorite day! We got up and headed to Tampa to visit Clearwater Beach. We spent the day under a cabana playing in the ocean, eating delicious seafood at the beachfront restaurants, paddle boarding (the kidsdid AMAZING and Sieauna got right up!) and Alex even took a turn at indoor surf boarding! We finished the evening sipping tropical drinks at Frenchy's on the beach.

Universal Orlando here we come! This place is huge! We LOVED LOVED LOVED the Rockin' Roller coaster and the shows and restaurants. The only thing we didn't like was that the majority of the rides were 3D and just made us all sick, except for Sieauna. She loved ALL of them! So mommy went with her (bleck!) We were all feeling pretty exhausted after walking around all day so we headed back to the condo and had an early night.

Another much needed chillax day at the condo. Justin took a three hour nap on the beach side hammocks while the kids stayed poolside. Kathy and I took the kids on a paddleboat ride around the lake and I got in a nice three mile run. We did make a short shopping trip to the local outlet stores but pretty much just stayed in and relaxed. We finished the evening at an amazing restaurant on the water dining on seafood and sipping specialty drinks while taking in the beautiful scenery.
