The kids accompanied us to San Francisco to support me in the Alcatraz race. We tried to take them to all the best parts that Justin and I love so much like the seals on the wharf, Ghiradelli Square, The Buena Vista (which quickly became a favorite of Sieauna also), Boudin, Scoma's, Pier 39, and more! I hope they loved it as much as we do!
Mom cooked up a super yummy dinner (okay, Justin did the cooking on the grill) but mom decorated the place up beautifully and hosted a wonderful night before I go off to San Francisco to swim.
Heather invited us to spend the evening at a fun fundraiser to raise awareness of suicide. It was an amazing evening hearing tender stories of loved ones passing and a fun way to raise money with some of my best friends.
Alex came home for the weekend and we took mom out to lunch and shopping for her birthday. Cute Rachel snuck away from work to come to surprise her too!
We bought the tickets pre-Covid and have been patiently waiting to see For King and Country perform! It was so awesome to hang out with my aunts and cousins for the evening, and I was able to convince miss Holli to come with me too! Very inspiring evening.
Ken's sister Mary gave me her gently used set of golf clubs so I asked the girls to take me out. Turns out, I kinda like this golf thing, or maybe it's getting to spend time with my friends.
