We celebrated Jennifer, Jason and Jeremy's birthdays and threw in a surprise baby shower! I hope the expecting couple were surprised. Mom and dad cooked up some bar-be-que and fixins, along with sundaes for dessert...yum!The older boys had a bottle sucking contest. The competition was to see who could suck the liquid the fastest. Justin and Jeremy won, but only because they totally cheated! They both pulled the nipple off the bottle and drank it. LOSERS!! :)
The funniest part was watching the little ones play "Wipe the ointment on the baby butt." I think the Young girls were a little conflicted as I couldn't draw a face on the baby so I used a picture of my brother (aka, their daddy! Hehehe). They had a fun time though. If you ask them, the best part was the sundaes! Grandpa (as in grandpa tradition) filled the kids mouths with whip cream. They loved it, of course.
Jennifer was glowing and looked beautiful. Despite how she feels, despite contracting the whole time, she looks wonderful and we are so thankful to her for putting up with that last month discomfort to keep our nephew/brother/grandson-to-be, safe and warm.
Won't be long now and I will have a new baby to play with! I get first dibs on the baby toes!! :)
