Carols At The Bank

Sieauna's 6Th grade class was chosen to sing Christmas Carols at a local bank branch and preform their official "tree lighting" ceremony. They are darling. I can't believe she's almost ready for Jr. High!

Young's Annual Pierogi Night

It's that time of year again! This year we've got 10 grand babies! I think it's safe to say, that's all there will be for now. What an amazing tradition mom and dad Young have kept going and such a wonderful tradition to pass down to all of us.

New York 2011

Mom and Dad and us took a family vacation to New York for Poppy's 90Th birthday, Nanny & Poppy's 65Th wedding anniversary, and Thanksgiving. It was a total surprise to Poppy. He was so happy his family could make it! We threw him a surprise party and had all his close family there. He was so happy and cheerful and felt so loved. "King Arthur" became his new name for the rest of the trip.Justin and I took a day with Alex and Sieauna and drove to Boston. The kids loved walking the Freedom Trail and were really interested in all the stories of the history of our Nation. I loved the aquarium and the food! We ended the vacation with Thanksgiving at Nanny & Poppy's house. We all contributed one dish. Sieauna did carrots that turned out amazing! Aunt Ann and Aunt Diane and her family came over and it was so great to be able to spend the holiday with family that we don't get to see often. I am so happy that my kids have gotten to know, and spend time with, their great-grandparents.

Basketball

Alex LOVES Basketball! He's so good at it and it's so awesome to see him involved in something he truly enjoys.

Little Man Turns 10

Alex turned the big "10".  No more single digits for my favorite little man. I am so proud of what a smart boy he has grown into and I just love all his funny quirks and his sweet disposition.

We had the entire family over, yes all of them, for Alex's birthday. We sure love our BIG family and all the fun cousins.  Alex felt very loved. Thanks guys!

He wanted to go to "Bouncin' off the Walls", a trampoline bounce house, for his friend party and we obliged.  What a fun time!  The boys (and a couple girls) endured several hours of bouncing and then pigging out on cake and pizza. 

Hope you had a great birthday son! We love you so much.

Reflections

Sieauna did awesome on her Reflections project and went on to regionals. I am proud of the work she did!

Pumpkin Carving

We took the kids to this cute little pumpkin patch down the road. We probably spent way to much on them, but it was fun to "donate" to a local grower rather than a grocery chain.  Here are the creations!
