The "Thumb" Incident.

I was in a hurry, a BIG hurry. I had to be to the school in five minutes and I was picking up a bunch of other kids for a playdate at my house. In my rush, I was putting down the third row seat in the Denali and somehow (a Kelly-ism for sure) I managed to get my thumb caught in the hinge. I ripped it out and when I saw blood fly all over the back of my car, and start pouring onto the ground, I knew I was in trouble. I wrapped my thumb in a towel, picked up the kids, dropped them off at a friends house and drove to the ER, where they proceeded to stitch up my nasty, super deep cut. 12 stitches later, I'm all better. Geeze.

Goodbye Steve.

It was with heavy heart that I blog this visit to Cle Elum. Our dear friend Steve Henkes passed away very suddenly this weekend of a massive heart attack. Kitty is at the cabin in the very deep snow and Justin and I flew up as soon as we heard the news to make sure Kitty would be OK. I am so sad to see his things and visit here knowing we will never see him again. Thank you Steve, for all the wonderful memories.

Ken's Retirement

Ken finally retired from A.M.S. after a long, almost 30 years. He was excited and happy and we wish him the very best. Justin is following in his foot steps and hopes to do as good of a job as Ken did running the company.

Can She Really Be Twelve Already?

Sieauna turned twelve. I can't believe she is almost a teenager. She had a birthday slumber party/ice cream sundae bar at home, her choice, and on the actual night of her birthday we took her out for sushi with her best friend Madison. Love that girl. I am so proud of how smart and happy she is. She is a good friend and a wonderful big sister. She is soooooo very beautiful! I love her to pieces!

Happy Birthday Hunny

We had a very relaxing birthday at home for Justin. He wasn't feeling that great so we took it easy and just had "his" side over. Nice and quiet. Just what he wanted. Happy birthday baby.
