We just returned from our Vigh family vacation to St. George. What a fun time we had! I haven't been there in about 10 years and things have definitely changed. We stayed in this amazing house in Entrada, right next door to the Entrada Golf Club House (the one they used to film High School Musical II). This place was spectacular! What exactly do people do for a living to have the money to live in those homes? WOWY! We spent ALOT of time in the pool as the weather was around 100 most of the time. We did venture out to Zions for a hike and another hike at Snow Canyon to see a really neat volcano (Alex's favorite part of the trip besides the pool).
Justin's favorite was the "In-an-Out Burger" (can we say Animal Fries?) and of course we had to stop at our memory making restaurant, Bear Paw. We even got to spend some time with our good friends Holli, Shon and their daughter Ash. We took our bikes along and had some fun biking around Entrada with the kids. I even got a little run in, but what I really enjoyed was my morning laps in the pool, before it was too hot and I had the pool all to myself.
We also enjoyed spending Father's Day with my amazing husband (aka: Daddy Extraordinaire) and my wonderful father-in-law Ken, whom I simply adore with all my heart. The only thing missing was my own daddy dearest, Bob, who was in his glory at our Young family cabin surrounded by his sons and grand babies. I did get to talk to him on the phone and let him know how much I love him and missed him. To all the wonderful fathers, and my two "little" brothers, Happy Father's Day!
Lots of food, laughs, swimming and did I mention food? Back on WW faithfully after this one! We've got that 5K to run in two weeks! We had a wonderful time, as we always do spending time with Justin's family. It was very relaxing and peaceful and everything a great vacation should be.
