Woah! 21! She's all grown up. We never dreamed that we would be lucky enough to get to raise and enjoy this amazing human being. She constantly impresses us and makes us so proud. She's out there doing her thing living her dream and we are grateful to be along for the ride. For her birthday we took her out for sushi and spent the time with family.
I whipped up a delicious meal and we quietly celebrated the most amazing man on the planet.
What an exhausting year. While it was a year like nothing we've ever experienced, it was a year of a lot of growth, resilience, and many wonderful things that happened and brought our family closer together. Alex went out to a small party with some friends while Sieauna, Justin and I sat on the couch and sipped champagne while the ball dropped. Glad the year is over and excited to see what the new year brings.
Since the kids were home, and she's super sneaky, Sieauna talked me into a 3rd Christmas tree this year decorated in nothing but candy and baked treats! I have to admit, it was pretty cute. Nan and Beep came up to spend the holiday with us and pick up their new Christmas present! I cooked up a delicious feast on our new oven using our new pots and pans! It was just so enjoyable and quiet and wonderful.
