Knight of the Tri Award

Sieauna took home the prestigious "Knight of the Tri" award at her school.  The letter we received went like this:
"Congratulations! Sieauna has been selected to receive one of the highest honors Albion has to offer, the Knight of the Tri award.  These students are a highly select group recognized for outstanding citizenship, academics, attitude, and all-around excellence. Again, we congratulate you for having such a fine student.  We are honored to have a student of such high caliber here at Albion."
It was really hard keeping it a secret from her and in the end, she found out right before the award was announced, but she was so proud of herself and happy!  She also took home awards for getting a perfect 4.0 and making National Junior Honor Society.  Love that girl!

BBQ at the Taylor's and First Summer Hike

Shelly and Jonathon hosted our first of many summer BBQ's.  The following morning we took our first hike up the Bonneville Shoreline trail.  So much fun hanging out with friends.

Ogden Half Marathon

On a complete whim I decided to run the Ogden Half.  What a wonderful surprise to have my best friends waiting for me at the finish.  I ended up killing it and setting a new PR. Good times!

Walking Tour of Brewtah

Justin and I met Teresa downtown and went on a fun, historic tour of some of Utah's breweries! It was really interesting to hear of the often scandalous history and see the beautiful buildings.  Afterwards we went to the Garage and took in some awesome blues music and just so happened to win a mini-fridge in a silent auction!  What a fun night.  Oh, and did I mention there was lots of beer?
