Lagoon Day
Every year Summer's awesome parents treat us to a day at the amusement park, Lagoon. The kids love it and this year both kids put their fears aside and rode ALL the roller coasters! They are little dare devils I tell you! The adults especially enjoyed it this year because the kids were finally old enough to go off on their own. It was a great day.

Alex Gets Glasses!
Man he is handsome!! This should help with his not being able to see distances. He was so cute when he first put them on. He kept asking me if I knew there were "leaves on the trees" or "different colors in Sissy's hair" and "I can see the church up the road from my house!" I told him I felt bad for not getting them sooner and he said "it's ok mom, but next time your kid complains he can't see for a year, you should probably take him in to get glasses." Thanks Alex. I'll do that.

Girls Night Out
Summer took me to see Brandi Carlisle in concert at the gorgeous Red Butte Garden. Low and behold we ran into Tracy and Holli!! Couldn't have been more perfect. Brandi was awesome.

Pool Parties!
Got an AMAZING steal last fall. I was shopping around at a store (I won't mention the name) and found a 16'X4' above ground pool for $50! Yes, you read that right, $50! I promptly called Justin, sent him and picture and he said to get it. At checkout, the pool rang up at $350. I said "No, the sign says $50". The clerk told me that was wrong and that it was suppose to be $350 marked down from $999. I fought it and took her back to where I got the pool from and showed her the sign. Yes, it said $50. She pulled the sign and said "Someone is going to lose their job for this". I knew that wouldn't really happen so I insisted and guess what....I got the pool for $50. NICE!
Soooo, after taking down our old playset (donation to the nieces and nephews who can use it a few more years!) and spending three full weekends cleaning and leveling out the area, we have a pool! So far it's been kindof a pain to be honest, but hey, it was $50 and the kids are in heaven so it's all worth it.....until I see the water bill next month for 1,500 gallons of water! Yikes!

Pineview 2012
Our favorite yearly tradition. Fishing, Dutch oven cooking, long days on the beach, bacon every morning, and memory making with the family. We love love love camping at Pineview! This year Justin and I rented a jet ski for the day. Stacey (sis-in-law) and I dubbed ourselves Thelma and Louise because of our mad wave jumping skills. The kids came on too. They are little dare devils and it scares me that they love the speed and thrill of wave jumping. Must take after their momma :). Ken caught some huge Tiger Muskie and Alex caught some, uh, smaller ones to say the least (see pictures). Can't wait to go back next year!

Last Day of School Fun
Sieauna graduated from elementary school. I seriously can not even believe it. Where has the time gone? I remember going to her first "last day of school" dance performance when she was in 1st grade! Oh man. Sieauna's class did a dance to "Eye of the Tiger" and Alex did an awesome jumping band dance to the Beach Boy's "Salt Lake City". They are so dang cute. I love to see them participating with the class.

Justin and I decided to get away and head to one of our favorite places, San Fransisco. But this trip would be different! Instead of hangin...
