Rachel's Graduation

Rachel graduated from Marion and is ready to start her Army life back in Salt Lake City! We are so proud of her and were very fortunate to be able to spend some time celebrating her accomplishments with family.

Pandemic Quarantine

We have never experienced a pandemic in our lifetime and have had mixed feelings on it.  I have enjoyed the slow downtime. No plans, no one we have to see, nothing we have to do. I have learned to appreciate the quiet and warmth of our home.  I like knowing that I can come home and do...nothing. The kids are struggling because they are no longer physically in school. All of their classes are online and they have some anxiety about what will happen this fall.  Alex does not get graduation. There will be no BBQ, yet, to celebrate.  Kathy got COVID-19 and said it was miserable. We are all so grateful she has recovered. Justin and I have been able to continue to work at the office, but I see that he is getting cabin fever and misses being able to go out and do things on the weekend. We've been keeping our minds occupied with puzzles and home remodels.  I think everyone but me hopes to return to "normal" as soon as possible.

Mother's Day

This Mother's Day started the morning with a great 6 mile run down Little Cottonwood Canyon. I arrived home to homemade muffins on a beautiful serving dish that the kiddies bought me.  Justin cooked up some awesome hashbrowns and eggs for breakfast.  Alex helped me in the yard all day and we ended the evening with some BBQ!  This momma felt loved!

Quarantine 10K

Krissie and I ran a "virtual 10K".  I know we were supposed to be "social distancing", but we may have snuck a hug in during this fun run down the mountain.
