I FINALLY got in on the lottery to run the Tiffany's/Lululemon Palm Desert 1/2 Marathon! Krissie had signed up and got in, so the plan was to go down for her birthday. We had such a fun time. Palm Desert/Palm Springs is the best in the middle of cold November to get away from the chill and bask in some sun! Justin and I loved the little getaway, we enjoyed hanging out with Krissie and all her girlfriends and the race swag wasn't too bad either! The race was, eh, it was okay. It was super unorganized but spending the time running/walking with Krissie made it worth it! Justin volunteered (actually, he was put in charge of) the food booth and it was a disaster. They didn't have enough food and Justin ran around crazy trying to do damage control for what the organizers lacked. I was so proud of him. They asked him to do it next year and he promptly replied with a "Helllll no." No matter, we had a great time relaxing, shopping, eating and soaking up some Vitamin D.

Alex Turns 18!!!
What the heck? 18? An adult! We are so proud of this kid. Who knew he would turn into such an amazing, intelligent, beautiful, driven man? He is super good looking and so nice and polite to everyone he meets. We love him more than words could ever express and are looking forward to watching what he does with his life.
For his special day, we went to Tuscano for dinner with grandma and grandpa, then Saturday when Sieauna came home from school we took him to La Caille for his special birthday dinner.
