Although we didn't get to enjoy it for long, the kids still mandated that we decorate the house for Christmas. This year they did it all as I was studying for exams. They did a fabulous job! I also threw in a couple photos from mom's house this year. She was very "Martha Stewart" like in her decor.

Sandy Turkey Trot 5k
CrossFit Sandy put together a team to run the Sandy Turkey Trot 5K. The kids and I signed up and then those same kids bailed on me the morning of the race. No worries, Mark stepped up and nabbed Alex's ticket. Cold but beautiful.

Alex's 14th Birthday
This amazing guy turned 14! He's 6'3" and has a size 14 shoe. He didn't want to have a party this year but chose instead to spend a quiet night at home with the family. He requested homemade chicken and waffles and we had a great day celebrating my favorite little-big man.

Halloween 2015
Alex was "Nikolai Belenski" from Call of Duty and Sieauna (I didn't get a picture) was Matthew Grey Gubler. Stella was a sock monkey. The night before Halloween, Heather and Art threw one heck of a Halloween party this year! I hope it will be the first of many.

R.I.P Little Lilly
We lost our sweet Lilly today. She suffered a few seizures and was unable to recover. We are all heart broken and will miss her more than words can say. Lilly Bean ("Beaner", "Lils", "Bean's-n-weans", "Queen of the mush-mush tribe", "Chubs", "Beaner Boo", "Pudgy", "Mush", etc.) was an amazing dog. There is no one to replace her and Stella will miss her sister. We love you Lilly Bean.

Haunted Half and 5K
While Teresa and I were running the Salt Lake Haunted half marathon, Sieauna ran (and kicked butt at) the 5K. She's taking after her momma and I love it! Heather and Anna ran as well. I'm very grateful to my amazing friends who are so supportive and love that we share the same interests.
