Fair Day!

Alex got to go on a special date with Nana and Bepa to the Utah State Fair. I'm a little jealous! I haven't been forever! He had fun riding rides, fishing and people watching!

Circus! Circus!

It's official-I've fallen in love with the circus again. I don't know if it was the kids uncontainable excitement or that it brought back fond childhood memories, but after all these years, I still love the circus!

Softball Sweetness

Sieauna is getting so darn good at softball! She loves it and has been playing first base. Yesterday she caught a highball making and out, turned and threw it to third, who caught it, for a nice double play. Then she hit a two base run against the other teams super awesome pitcher! Love that girl!!

Cabin Time for Dad's Birthday

There is nothing more beautiful than the fall scenery at the cabin. Seeing the amazing colors change from green to bright red is by far my most favorite time of year. We headed up to the cabin for dad's birthday. The older boys sheet rocked the garage while I spent time snuggling my nieces and nephews. 4-wheeling and a quick hike wore my kiddies out! Happy birthday dad.

Utes Vs. BYU

The big state football rivalry. Utah Utes vs. BYU. What an insane game. We won-three times. The refs were crazy. We won and the fans rushed the field. The refs called a review and we had to redo the play. We won, again, and the fans rushed the field, again, and AGAIN The ref challenged it and gave the Utes a 15 yard penalty because the fans rushed the field before the time ended. Then BYU attempted a field goal and missed, so we won, again. It was seriously frustrating and insane. But in the end we won so yea!!

Vigor Half marathon

Got home from the Utes game at 1:00 AM. Slept until 3:30 AM then headed up the canyon to Solitude Ski Resort where I ran down the canyon to finish what was probably my last half marathon. I wish the knees would just stop giving me such darn grief. Our best running buddies, Shelly, John & Teresa ran with me. Teresa and I ran together and I am so thankful she was there to get me through some tough moments! The scenery was amazing. The company....perfect. Too bad the run hurt so bad lol! Oh-and PS-the course was 13.7 miles!!!! Not 13.1. Just sayin'. I need some ice and a nap. Then I will contemplate my retirement.

Utes Vs. Utah State

We joined a bunch of our tailgating buddies and hopped on a party bus for Logan to attend the Utes vs. Utah State game. The bus was super crowded but the company was fun and made it worthwhile. The game went into overtime ending in the Utes sad (but deserved) loss (they kinda sucked!). Oh well, still a good time.

Big Awards Little Man

Alex is doing so well in Boyscouts. He's only been doing it since March and he's already surpassed the other boys as far as badges and such. He really is fond of it! Here he is getting all the badges he worked on over the summer, including his Webelos badge (which none of the other boys have achieved yet). So proud of this kid!

Tick "Tat" Toe

Finally finished my tat! I love it!
